-In Colossians 1:1, Paul identifies himself as an Apostle. His conversion story in Acts 9 and his work in other churches gives some weight to his advice here. How receptive are you to outside advice from someone you’ve never met?

DIVING DEEP
-Verse 5 says, “The faith and love that spring from the hope...” implying that hope is the basis from which faith and love spring. But in one of Paul’s letters to another church (1 Corinthians 13:13) we are told that “faith, hope, and love remain, but the greatest of these is love.” Do these verses contradict each other, or can they actually complement each other?
-What’s one way we can live our lives differently this week because of the conversation we had today?
