Alone Together

Reading through some of the more solemn Psalms often points us toward inward reflection and possibly even loneliness. But the Psalms were intended to be a proclamation of many voices. A cry in desolation to a God who is right there with us. May we be reminded that even in rough times, there is a reason to lift a praise to God as a community and to endure pain and sorrow together - just as Jesus endured pain and suffering right alongside a broken humanity.
