In the story of Noah, we are often taught about obedience as if by Noah's obedience he was able to survive the great flood of Genesis. But what if we read that story through the lens of grace rather than obedience? Noah was unable to save his family apart from the grace of God to lead him the first place. Far before there was obedience by Noah was the grace of God.
