Leadership

Chris is a graduate of Oklahoma City University and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. Chris and his wife Jennifer have two children, Elise and Sarah. This is Chris' first year as pastor of First Church.

Morgan graduated from East Central University with a major in Sacred Music and a minor in Music Business. She and her husband Ridge have 2 children, Landon and Ellie, and a scotty dog named Odin. Morgan has been with First Church since May 2015 and serves as the overseer of all things music here!

Jackson graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a degree in Missions. He and his wife Kaitlyn have a one year old daughter (Emersyn). Jackson has served at First Church since September 2020 and oversees our Youth, Young Adults and Children's ministries. 

Cindy and Jan are long time member of First Church and have spent many years investing in our children's program. From sending their own children through our children's program to leading our children's ministry currently, they are well equipped to teach and care for your kids!

Jana graduated with a degree in Business from UCO and has been working with First Church since 2017. She and her husband of 39 years have three children and a son-in-law. Her responsibilities at First Church include all of the financial bookkeeping.

Sharon and T.J. Austin have four children and eight grandchildren. After many years as a dental hygienist, Sharon spent four semesters studying Organ at Oklahoma City University. She has been playing the organ at First Church since January 1982, but had played organ and piano for several years before she joined our staff.

John has spent his career in the construction industry.  After years of owning his own construction business John is spending his semi-retirement years helping First Church manage our large facilities.  John has been a member of First Church since 1995 and has two sons and five grandchildren.  John has been a member of the First Church staff since 2019.
