Each Sunday morning we have the opportunity to gather with persons of similar age or interest to participate in Sunday School. We currently have eight adult classes with varying topics being discussed. Sunday School is a way for a larger group of individuals to share in family life together at First Church. Our Sunday classes celebrate together in outings, parties, mission work, and service within the life of our congregation. Sunday school is at 9:45 each Sunday morning on the 2nd floor education building. All Sunday School classes are open for you to become a part of a growing group of people looking to deepen their faith through the study of the Word. Try out a Sunday class this week and meet some friendly people between the worship services. I’m sure you’ll find a class in which you can grow in your faith, serve with love, and share your testimony passionately. Below is a list of the current classes and where they meet. For more information concerning Sunday classes contact Kirk Norman at 239-6493.

Intercessory Prayer Class (Room 237)
Intercessory Prayer is a class of dedicated persons who find their spiritual gift is interceding on behalf of others, situations which arise in peoples lives, or circumstances around the world. This class meets each Sunday morning during the Sunday school hour to pray for the requests from our Heartland Chapel, Prayer Line, and individual offerings from each weeks activities. This class is truly dedicated to the spiritual well-being of all persons. If you feel your spiritual gift is one of intercession, you are invited to attend this Sunday morning fellowship. The class is always looking for persons to share in this time.
The Living Room (Room 229)
This class is designed for young adults, out of high school through their 20s, in college or new to a career. It features small group discussion and topics relevant to the lives of young people today, focusing on developing a closer relationship with God, and living our faith in the real world.
