CITY SCAPE kids

Downtown proud and living for Jesus

Located in the heart of Oklahoma City First Church's mission is simple when it comes to our Children's Ministry. We provide the best spiritual opportunities for children to grow and learn about the wonderful love of Jesus Christ, in a safe, fun, and loving environment. We accomplish these simple yet powerful goals by working with children and their families to instill the following concepts into their young lives:

connect (TEACH CHILDREN TO LOVE AND WORSHIP GOD)

grow ( SHOW CHILDREN HOW TO LIVE AND LEARN IN A LIFE OF TRUTH)

SERVE (PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN TO SHARE THE LOVE OF JESUS WITH OTHERS)

First Church cares about the family and what we can do to help parents and children enjoy and learn on their journey with Christ. We offer several opportunities such as Sunday school, Children's church, kids's choir, mid-week activities, or our annual events, all designed for one purpose: to help parents and children to live a life for Jesus.

This is our goal...this is our responsibility...and this is our passion.

Sunday School

Sunday School is provided for children of all ages from 9:30-10:30 every Sunday on the first floor of the Education Wing. We have dedicated teachers who are trained annually. We also carefully select age appropriate curriculum that focuses on experiencing the love of Jesus while learning Bible stories.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is an optional activity for our kids who are in Pre-K through second grade during the second half of each worship service. The activities presented in Children’s Church are intentionally designed to teach the Gospel to children. During this time, children hear the Bible story and engage in music, crafts, games or other activities to learn the presented principles.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Children’s activities on Wednesday nights begins at 6:15 on the first floor of the Education Wing.
