"FEETS of FAITH"
To flip flop or not? That is the question!

Flip-flops are great fun to wear in warm and beachy weather,
But flip-flopping on values – well, that’s different altogether.

For when it comes to your beliefs and choosing right from wrong,
We each must stand on principle, upright and tall and strong.

When you have hard choices, draw a clear line in the sand,
Don’t “go along” just to “belong.” Know firmly where you stand.

And if you walk with God each day and practice self-control,
You’ll achieve great “feets” of faith, and God will bless your “sole.”

Join the Women Alive ministry of First Church for this refreshing time with each other and the Lord. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Frankye Johnson, will be our speaker for the weekend, and we will meet in the First Church fellowship hall. Childcare will not be provided.  

Weekend Schedule:
Friday, April 3 - 6:00 - 8:30pm
Saturday, April 4 - 8:30am - 3:00pm

FYI...

• Cost is $20 (includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday).
• Please bring your bible.
• Please sign up (at the registration table) to bring a snack to share on Friday evening of the retreat.
• Scholarships are available and donations will be accepted for those who would like to provide a scholarship for someone.
• Registration starts Sunday, March 15. Please register at the retreat table in the plaza.
• Transportation is available upon request.
