Summer Camps 2010

Church Camp 

Growing in Grace at Camp Canyon- (June 21-23)
(Entering 3rd-5th graders)

Older elementary kids have the opportunity to experience God’s love in God’s beautiful creation over this three day, two night camp. In addition to hiking, swimming, recreation, and crafts campers participate in interactive small group learning and creative worship. Transportation will be provided by First Church, but there are a limited number of seats, so early registration is required. Total cost for the camp is $122 per camper, and scholarships are available upon request to help with tuition. Deadline to register is Wednesday, May 26, 2010.

Sonshine at Camp Canyon- (July 10-11)
(Entering 1st and 2nd graders)

Early elementary kids enjoy a taste of hiking, swimming, crafts, and active learning small groups under the caring and watchful eye of shepherds and leaders. All activities and creative worship in this fast-paced 24 hour, one night camp are geared for this younger age-level. One parent or legal guardian is required for each camper, and transportation is not provided by First Church. Total cost for the camp is $47 per camper, and $24 per parent or guardian. Scholarships are available upon request to help with tuition. Deadline to register is Wednesday, May 26, 2010.

Music CampMusiCamp Rocks - (July 26-30)
(Preschool thru 8th Grade)

This camp will be an exciting week of fine arts discovery as well as studying some of the stories of our favorite Bible characters. Songs and class work will be based on both music and stories, and students will have the opportunity to choose from cooking, dance, handchimes, puppet/clown theater, photography, music, arts/crafts, and book making rotation type classes. This camp will be from 5:30p.m.to 8:30 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Transportation will be provided by First Church, but there are a limited number of seats, so early registration is required. Total cost for the camp is $5 per camper, and scholarships are available upon request to help with tuition expense. This camp is sponsored by First Church, Covenant Presbyterian Church, and Central Oklahoma Chapter of the Choristers Guild. Deadline to register is Thursday, July 15, 2010.
