Bunny PicureEaster Egg Hunt

Palm Sunday, March 16, was a fun day for all! This year we sponsored an egg hunt on the church playground and invited the community to join us! If you weren't able to be with us (or even if you were), you'll enjoy these video highlights!

Promotion Sunday PicturePromotion Sunday

What an exciting transition this is for kids; moving from one grade to the next! We realize how important this is and honor the kids every year with a promotion ceremony & reception. Each child is presented with a certificate and goody bag as they walk across stage in honor of their promotion. The 3rd Grade class is also presented with Bibles at this time to honor their promotion from Children's Church to upper elementary classes. Promotion Sunday is usually held the first Sunday in June.

Nothing's more exciting then spending a full week having a blast with friends and learning about God's everlasting love! Last year we had a huge Fiesta where we learned that Jesus is our Friend, our Leader, our Savior and our Life! We also did some missions' work making blankets for our First Church Missionaries in Northern Mexico. This year we'll be taking a wild ride through God's Word at the Avalanche Ranch. Just wait 'til you meet these fun country critters that can't wait to share God's awesome love! See you at Avalanche Ranch, June 24-28, 2007 at the First Church Corral!

Between VBS & Summer camps there's not a lot of free time for other activities but we try to squeeze in a few fun activities for both our younger and older elementary kids. Last year the younger kids took a trip to the OKC zoo for a picnic lunch and an afternoon full of fun. The older kids enjoyed a church lock-in where they made sundaes, tie-dyed t-shirts, played in the game room and much more. Stay tuned for more information on this year's summer fun!

Family pictureHallelujah Harvest

Every fall the FC Kids ministry hosts a fall family festival known as the Hallelujah Harvest. With games, costumes, crafts, and yummy treats both kids and adults enjoy a night of fun and fellowship. Last year our Women Alive! group even dressed up as scarecrows and served food to the families! It was great fun and we're already looking forward to next year!
